Bridge over the Twente Canal around Almen, apparently a Calender-Hamilton-type bridge from immediately after WWII when all bridges over the canal were blown to bits.
“Are naughty kids around?” (悪い子はいねえか) When you visit the Namahage museum (なまはげ館) at the Oga Peninsula in Akita Province, make sure to join the show in the building next to the museum. It really is a lot of fun and the kids do seem to enjoy getting scared. Camera: PENTAX MZ-S ISO: 800
