Zutphen, the floodplains of the River IJssel pretty much filled to the brim. A 6 seconds exposure, shot on Rollei PAN 25 and (semi) stand developed. Shot around Christmas last year.

A walk outside the city Wall of Zutphen is something special, especially when finally the sun comes out in a year when Spring has been virtually non-existing. I feel that we jumped from Winter immediately to a dreary Summer.

I do like the spires of the Luxembourg churches after so many years of the, rather particular, UK churches.
I love the way the colours come out on slide film.
A photo that I secretly do enjoy quite a bit. Shot at Haff Réimech, a bird sanctuary close to Schengen on the Mosel. Lots of great hides to observe the birds and plenty of photographers around with lenses longer than a leg. Too bad it is just a hobby for me, or else I would love to have one of those lenses!

A photo I took years an years ago with my trusty old Pentax ME. I do remember feeling really scared with the camera so exposed to the salty spray of the Atlantic that I covered it in a towel. It did survive without a hitch as I do still use that camera today.
