The iconic Shakespeare and Company bookshop on the Left Bank of the Seine at night. Definitely worth a visit when visiting Paris to say 'hi' to the cats asleep in the shop. :-) It is probably best known for first publishing Ulysses by James Joyce and serving as base for many of the writers of the Beat Generation, such as Allen Ginsberg, Gregory Corso, and William Burroughs in the 1960s.
