Calla Lilies #5

As announced yesterday, for the next three days look forward to the same flowers taken with my Pentax 645NII medium format camera. This camera has no built-in flash but I bought the hotshoe adapter at the same time so I can use the flash remotely and use a set up where I could use the umbrella and use the reflector to bounce the flash back onto the subject. Note that with this camera, the flash will only operate in TTL mode, not the more advanced P-TTL mode the other cameras support. I used my 200mm manual focus lens (equivalent with 133mmm for a 35mm camera) together with the Pentax 645 Auto Extension Tube A (14mm) which allowed me to focus a little more closely with this lens and get a larger magnification. Old techniques are still the best! Can you visualize the set up now? Good, in that case please compare the above results with the photos of the previous week and comment. I am really looking forward to your comments, so, keep those comments coming.
