The second of the three photos I want to draw your attention to. How do these compare with the photos taken with my other cameras? The set up is still the same: My Pentax 645NII camera with the Pentax 645 A 200mm F/4 lens together with the Pentax Auto Extension Tube-A (14mm) and the Pentax AF 360FGZ flash used remotely with a reflector umbrella and a reflector on the other side of the subject.

ADOX CHS 25 ART at EI 25, pre-soaked film for 3 minutes, developed in APH 09 1:80 for 12 minutes. Agitation: 2 inversions every 30 seconds.

A stunning composition – I love the black and white contrast here.

Hans, my impression is that you seem to have more burnt-out highlights on the medium format shots, than on the 35mm or digital shots, perhaps due to less automation on the flash exposure. I'm a lilly addict myself, so far with stargazer lillies, and my approach is to use two anglepoise lamps (about £5 each) retro-fitted with daylight-balanced 40w bulbs. The daylight bulbs are not essential for digital but useful for colour film. Then you can see the lighting while focussing and metering,

Overall a great set of photos.
