The Church of Panagia Paraportiani (Greek: Εκκλησία της Παναγίας Παραπορτιανι), probably the most photographed object on Mykonos. The building of this church started in 1425 and was not completed until the 17th century.
In 1985 I took a trip to the Cyclades in Greece and spent a few weeks on Mykonos and Tinos before taking the ferry back to Athens to stay a few more days in Marathon.
I just recovered the slides I took during that trip. Under the caption of ‘youthful sins.’ No doubt the place still looks identical.
