Contemplating the Glacial Lagoon at Jökulsárlón

Contemplating the Glacial lagoon at Jökulsárlón
One of the must-visit places on Iceland if you decide to leave the Golden Circle. The Glacial Lagoon at Jökulsárlón is not so much a lagoon as a short river if you want to look at it from a positive point of view, in reality it is of course a quickly retreating glacier.
The size of the lagoon has increased by a factor of four since the 1970s. This fact is certainly worthy of a moment of contemplation and meditation.
