This is of course a pretty boring landscape with nothing to attract the attention or to lock the image down, yet it is important to me as it is the first shot I did with my 4×5 Large Format camera and it came out pretty good! Over the last months I have been posting a few images shot with this camera and I have had a few failures: Don’t pull the darkslide out when you still have your lens open, or make sure to insert the filmholder from the correct side, but overall it has been a tremendous success and it has taught me so much about photography that I took for granted. As a bonus, all of a sudden the Zone System makes a lot of sense as you can adjust development for each negative. 🙂
