Heresy

An uninspiring photo of a boring stone, that is, until you decipher what is written on the stone:

“This stone was erected Augustus 1955 in memory of Robert Smith, John Dencey & Patrick Backingham who were burned at the stake on Lynch Green opposite this spot in Augustus 1555 and also of all those men and women of Uxbridge who have suffered persecution in the Christian faith”

In 1555 five men were burned at the stake on Lynch Green in Uxbridge, England, for their Protestant beliefs; the excesses created by dogma and lack of scepticism.

Interesting background. (I'm glad they don't do that any more.) I actually like the composition, despite what you say!
