Maen Llia

Maen Llia standing stone: 3.7m (12ft) high and 2.8m (9ft) wide and only 0.6m (2ft) thick. The stone is believed to be a Bronze Age road marker marking the valley head; the small road on which we drove goes back to the Romans which suggests that this valley has been used as a routeway for several thousand years.

The rain is still pouring down in a storm and it is impossible to keep the lens clean with the rain coming down almost horizontally.

Created using the Enfuse droplets of Erik Krause from three bracketed (+/- 1 stop) photos.
