I bought myself a 2nd hand flash (Pentax 360FGZ) cheaply and it is awesome as it works so well with my Pentax K20D and MZ-S (35mm) cameras; it was incredibly easy to set it up for wireless use! At Amazon.co.uk I bought a reflector umbrella and a 5-in-1 reflector for a few pounds and together with a black bed sheet, I am all set to do some still life photography. These are the first results of the shoot. I also shot on 35mm, but need to develop and scan the film to see how well that came out.
The above photo is shot with my Pentax K20D DSLR and I used some Adobe Lightroom presets to arrive at this look that highlighted the structure of the mostly white flower. Tomorrow I will ask you to compare this results of these digital photos with the analogue ones and I'm hoping that you could tell me your preference.
